The Walrus Audio Iron Horse V3 represents the third generation in a family of steadfast work horses and, to set players up with an extra wide tonal range, this upgraded stompbox comes with a Silicon-and-LED-clipping-diodes blend pot which replaces the 3-way distortion mode toggle switch of the V2 model. Turn the Distortion pot all the way to the left to have the asymmetrical Silicon clipping diodes deliver high amounts of compression, or twist it to the right to activate the LED clipping diodes for a much less intense compression effect. You're free to find the sweet spot here, and you'll find there's a huge range of highly dynamic sounds to discover when you do.

The Iron Horse V3 represents Walrus Audio's take on a classic distortion circuit where you can count on fat, punchy tone and, to rein it in, you're set up with a set of intuitive Level, Tone and Distortion pots. This way, besides untamed distortion, you're free to dial in crystal-clear overdrive for a lighter touch. Just like the American maker's other effect pedals, this stompbox features top-mounted jack ports for eased pedalboard integration, Walrus Audio even had artist David Hüttner draw up some awesome artwork for extra cool points!
